A whole new direction has emerged through this discourse – making government, private sector and civil society leaders think on the social, economic and cultural consequences of taking ICTs to Indian villages. This business model doesn’t provide the recurring income required to keep up with maintenance and support. Argumentative, analytical and thoughtful – the collection raises many questions for practitioners, policy makers, planners and researchers on the emerging ICTD paradigm in India. Two teams, consisting of a celebrity guest and a contestant, guess words from one word clues given by their partners, with each 'password' a clue to the 'password puzzle' (the name of a person, place or thing). With some shifts in team members, we competed (and won) in the 2018 CAC and will be releasing our app in 2019. Technovation programs are designed to be flexible, so they can align with diverse community needs and goals and plug in to existing support networks.
